Home of Wyoming Artist Donny Marincic

I grew up on and later operated my family’s ranch along the Green River in northwestern Wyoming. After a long day trailing cattle to the mountains in the spring or irrigating hay for winter feed, I would often sketch out the scenes and people of that day.

Now retired from ranching, I reflect back on those scenes and marvel at the spirit and energy of the animals and people in the high plains of Wyoming. I like to capture this spirit and passion in bright splashes of color.

I hope my paintings inspire in you the same spirit found naturally in the open spaces of Wyoming. As for me and my pony, we’ll be just over the next hill.

I have been able to study with some of the best Cowboy Painters, Fred Fellows, Gary Carter to name a couple. Donald Puttman and Clair Fry were two that I really enjoyed.
